This plan has been designed specifically for Canadian corporations and their international employees with the following goals in mind:

• To permit the corporation to maintain the benefits for domestic employees transferred overseas – expatriate employees.
• To be able to extend these benefits to other internationally mobile employees of all nationalities – third country nationals.
• To provide coverage for all risk benefits of concern to employees and their dependents.
• To permit the funding of these benefits in US Dollars.

Worldwide Benefits Plan:

This is a simplified version of the worldwide major medical policy.  Medical information may be requested before an offer to extend insurance is made; however, the parameters of the policy options have been narrowed to generate more aggressive pricing than the richer  Reside Prime plan.  The Worldwide Benefits Plan offers up to $3M (USD) in lifetime major medical coverage to Foreign nationals traveling often or permanently residing in their Home Country.  Please note that the maximum amount of time anyone may spend inside of the United States during any given 12 month period is 6 months (failure to comply will impact eligibility).  The Worldwide Benefits Plan enforces a rolling pre existing conditions exclusion of 24 months (Claims will look back 24 months to determine pre existing conditions.  Any diagnosed or treated conditions will have a rolling 24 month waiting period before potentially becoming eligible - see policy wording for details).  The Unistar Group Plan will pay for new illnesses, new injuries, as well as Emergency Assistance services, based on the area where you are being treated.

Reside Prime:

This is a fully underwritten worldwide major medical policy, whereby medical information may be requested before an offer to extend insurance is made.  Reside Prime offers up to $5M (USD) in major medical coverage to Foreign nationals traveling often or permanently residing in their Home Country.  Please note that the maximum amount of time anyone may spend inside of the United States during any given 12 month period is 6 months (failure to comply will impact eligibility).  Reside Prime will pay for new illnesses, new injuries, as well as Emergency Assistance services, based on the area where you are being treated.
